Good morning, hope all is well on your side of things.

Again I am on the road and arrived a few days ago in Afghanistan for the 3 rd trip over this lovely dust bol.

The trip started with a recall from leave and therefore my time in Florida was very short and sweet, spent more time in the truck than on the bike

I had to travel west before going east, went from a nice -5 C in Kingston to -21C with windsheild -40C in Edmonton for a few days and from there started to move East.  Had 3 stops after flying across the pound and i landed in the middle east the weather there was a nice +15C in the middle of the night.... Then took the last flight that brought me over Kandahar Afghanistan with nights of close to +5 and days to +20C.  At night it is getting very cold due to the winds gusts and still have to wear a tuke on my head since I have no hair...

It has been 4 days since I arrive and started to take over my duties from the guys that I am releiving and all is good on the eastern front...

The tipical day of work is about 12 hrs and can go much longer if there are any requirements.

To give you an idea of time difference + 9.5 hours ahead...

Looking forward to hear from you when you have the time to drop a line, keep in mind that I will not always be able to respond promptly due to operational situations...

PS: If you are home and you have a better half, dont forget that it is the valentine day stuff comming !!!

This e-mail was sent as a generic e-mail to all my contacts via the BCC.

Once I have my work e-mail I will send you the new address

Regrads
